New shoes and new socks. Armed with two mortars of propel-spiked water and a packet of shot bloks I headed out to the 3-mile mark. Passed Lesley and Nancy at the 2-mile mark who wre on their way back. Walked on past the 6 mile mark while I drank and ate.

4 miles on Saturday, 6 miles on Sunday, strength training today and a new pair of shoes and some fancy socks and some jello cubes.
I’m still not over the hip-thigh thing, however, I’m listening hard to the bones. They tell me easy does it.

4 miles on the GWT this morning. 41′ 35″, that’s a pace of 10′ 24″. Not bad considering I walked about a mile of it. I still feel a little stress in that damned thigh muscle.
